What's is in a name?

At 245Recycle, our Mission is to recycle any plastic produced in the world that isn’t repurposed or mechanically recycled

245Recycle was formed in 2023 at a Texas limited liability company.  The founders agreed on the name because it represents the company's foundation, that is recycling #2, #4 and #5 plastics (otherwise known as low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene and polypropylene).  Our vision is to expand our available technologies base so that all plastics, even those hard to recycle today (e.g., polyvinyl chloride or PVC and #7 plastics), can be recycled by advanced chemical methods in the future.

When that day comes, we want the name 245Recycle to remind us of where we came from and how much more we have accomplished.
