What's is in a name?

At 245Recycle, our mission is to engage in plastic recycling for any plastic produced worldwide that isn’t repurposed or mechanically recycled. 

Founded in 2023 as a Texas limited liability company, 245Recycle was named to reflect our focus on recycling #2, #4, and #5 plastics, known as low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene, and polypropylene. Our vision extends to advancing our recycling technology so that all plastics, including those currently considered hard to recycle such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and #7 plastics, can be processed through innovative chemical methods in the future.

When that day arrives, we want the name 245Recycle to serve as a reminder of our origins and the progress we have achieved in the field of plastic recycling.
